I work with adults to help cope with everyday stressors that bring on anxiety, depression and feeling overwhelmed.  Sometimes these "everyday stressors" are triggers stemming from previous unresolved trauma. I strive to empower my clients to work through the root of their problems so they can live a life of fulfillment, clarity, confidence, purpose, and self-worth while engaging in a variety of therapeutic interventions such as EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution focused therapy within the client centered approach.

This is a personal passion of mine as I have loved ones who protect and serve and have first hand experience as a LEO wife.  I have worked to develop a deep understanding of the unique challenges and stressors that first responders face on a daily basis.  My therapeutic approaches are geared towards first responders through being trauma informed, and include EMDR and mindfulness based stress reduction. I am a Certified First Responder Counselor (CFRC) and I offer flexible scheduling to make the first step to getting help easy.  

Let’s be real – being a teen is hard (parenting one may be harder).  Navigating through relationships, figuring out who you are - authentically - while dealing with the pressure of school can be overwhelming.  Providing you a confidential space, I will listen, understand, and accept where you are with compassion, empathy, and humor…without judgment.

Is your substance use getting out of control?  Are you finding yourself  in trouble, or experiencing problems due to your drug or alcohol use? I will meet you where you are in your journey towards recovery.  With me, you will be able to process and work through your addiction in a stigma free environment through various therapeutic approaches such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavior therapy, solution focused therapy and EMDR. 

Not everyone likes to sit in front of a computer for 45+ minutes taking.  Research has shown that this mindful based practice can make it easier for clients to open up, relieve tension and move through the therapeutic process.  Please check out the FAQ's for more information on this process (spoiler alert: it's one of my favorite ways to connect with clients!)  

Navigating relationships can be tricky, especially when we bring our
own traumas, negative experiences and insecurities.  Through vulnerability and effective communication in session, we can work to restore the  intimacy with your partner(s), increase trust, and enhance the understanding of our needs, as well as the needs of others.
