HI! I'M KRISTIN, AND I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE.
Welcome to Franklin Teletherapy & Coaching, a space where compassion, authenticity, and a little humor come together to support real growth. I provide high-quality therapy and coaching tailored to the unique needs of each individual and relationship. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, understood, and genuinely supported during every session.

I'm passionate about helping people uncover their true, authentic selves. I specialize in navigating trauma, anxiety, sexual concerns, addictions, and everyday challenges life brings.

Healing Starts Here
If you're reading this, you've already taken the first step on your journey toward healing, and that's no small thing.
Life doesn't always go the way we planned. It's not all rainbows and butterflies. Some days it's just surviving the daily grind, juggling work deadlines, basketball practices, and that never ending to-do list. It's driving into the depths of parenthood, falling into routines that quietly dull your park, and somewhere along the way...forgetting to take care of yourself. Hell, sometimes you forget who you even are.
Friendships fade because your schedule is packed. Your relationships looks its spark because there is always a kid (or a dog) sleeping between you. You wake up each morning facing another long day, just trying to make it through.
You're a mom, dad, partner, sibling, friend, coworker...but let me ask you: who are you for yourself?
Life gets hard.
Life can be messy.
Life can feel lonely.

But it doesn't have to stay that way.

If any of this resonates with you, reach out. I'd be honored to talk alongside you as you reconnect with yourself, find your footing, and start to build the life you want.
No matter who you are, what you look like, or who you love - you are welcome here. I am an LGBTQIA+ advocate and ally, and I strive to make sure you can show up exactly as you are.

A Glimpse into the process
Good news - therapy doesn't have to feel like sitting in a stuffy room, nodding politely while someone says, and how does that make you feel?" on repeat.

I like to think of myself as authentic, laid back, and pretty funny (although my kids may disagree). I make mistakes, have my own anxieties, and struggle like everyone else. And honestly, that' what makes me real. I bring that realness into the therapy room. No masks, no pedestals.

I don't believe therapy should be rigid, uptight or boring. Humor plays a huge role in the work I do, and yes, swearing is absolutely therapeutic. The magic happens in the relationship between us: building trust, laughing a little, crying sometimes, and walking the road together. That connection is hands down my favorite part about the job.

Now I won't sugarcoat it - therapy is hard work. I'll ask you to be open, honest, and vulnerable. I'll ask you to trust the process, even when it's uncomfortable. My hope is you'll feel safe enough to show up as your whole, unfiltered self. I'm not here to lecture you or hand out out advice like a self help book; I'm here to walk along side you, offer tools, and help you see what's possible when you lean in.
Okay, Here's The Official Stuff
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-MHSP) and a Level II Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (LADACII) in the state of Tennessee, as well as an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist (CST) and Certified First Responder Counselor (CFRC). I completed the Comprehensive Sexology Program through the Buhler Institute and have specialized training in EMDR, the Gottman Method for couples, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based stress reduction.
Nerd Alert: My Academic Side
My academic background includes a B.A. in Criminal Justice, a M.A. in Counseling Psychology, and a Post-Master's Certificate in Organizational Leadership. I'm passionate about supporting First Responders (more on that here) and exploring all things sex & relationships (more on that here).
Not My First Rodeo
Since 2008, I've had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings. This incudes community mental health, psychiatric inpatient care, the criminal justice system and private practice. Across every role, the heart of my work has remained the same: building relationships based on trust, acceptance, and real human connection.
How I Role
My counseling style is interactive, warm, and down-to-earth. I keep it real with humor and honesty, blending psychoeducation with therapeutic approaches like EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy, all within a client centered framework.
