I work with adults who are trying to make sense of the stress, anxiety, and emotional ups and downs that come with everyday life  Sometimes those "everyday stressors" are more than they seem.  They can stir up old wounds or unresolved trauma that's been quietly shaping the way you think, feel, and respond.

My goal is to create a space where you can get to the root of what's gong on and more toward more clarity, confidence, purpose, and  self-worth, so you can life a life that actually feels like yours.

Although I tap into multiple therapeutic modalities, I tend to blend Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy, all within a client-centered, compassionate framework.  I offer EMDR to those who are interested, through in some Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills when helpful, and I also support clients navigating sexual concerns and intimacy issues. 

Navigating relationships can be complicated, especially when past traumas, negative experiences, or insecurities comes along for the ride.  Many relationships come to therapy to work through communication breakdowns, conflict patterns, trust issues, intimacy concerns, or feeling emotionally disconnected.   In our work together, we'll use vulnerability and honest communication rebuild connection, deepen trust, and better understand the needs of everyone involved.

My goal is to create a safe, judgement-free space where you can explore what's getting in the way and build a stronger, more connected relationship.​

Struggling with addiction can feel isolating, but you don't have to face it alone. Whether you're navigating challenges with substances, gambling, pornography, or other behaviors that have started to feel out of control, I'll meet you where you are on your journey towards recovery.

Together, we'll work in a stigma-free, supportive environment to explore roots of the struggle and build healthier ways forward.  My approach integrates Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and EMDR, all tailored to your unique needs and pace.

Supporting first responders, military members, and veterans is a personal passion of mine.  As the wife of a retired law enforcement officer and someone with loved ones who protect and serve, I have deep understanding of the unique stressors, cultural dynamics, and unspoken pressures that comes with the job, both on and off duty.

My approach is trauma-informed and tailored to the specific needs of those in high stress professions.   I integrate EMDR, mindfulness based stress reduction, and other evidence based interventions to help address trauma, chronic tress, anxiety, relationship strain, and identity shifts that can arise during or after service.

As a Certified First Responder Counselor (CFRC),  offer flexible scheduling and a confidential, supportive space to make taking that first step toward help as easy and accessible as possible.

Not everyone feels comfortable sitting in front of a screen for 45+ minutes talking.  Walk & Talk Therapy offers a different approach, on that combines movement, fresh air, and mindfulness to support the therapeutic process.  Research shows that this mindful activity setting can help clients open up more easily, relieve tension, and move through emptions in a natural way
