How I Roll

Therapy with me is real, collaborative, and human.

I’m warm, interactive, down-to-earth, and yes, humor absolutely shows up in the therapy room. I believe healing happens best when people feel comfortable enough to be fully themselves, without fear of judgment or pressure to “perform.”

My style blends honesty, compassion, psychoeducation, and practical tools with approaches like EMDR, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy.

Basically: we can talk about trauma, intimacy, anxiety, shame, relationships, or life completely falling apart… while still laughing occasionally and being actual humans in the room together.

Not My First
Rodeo

I’ve been working in the mental health field since 2008 and have had the privilege of supporting children, teens, adults, and relationships through some really hard seasons of life.

My background includes community mental health, psychiatric inpatient care, the criminal justice system, addictions, and private practice. But no matter the setting, the heart of my work has always stayed the same: helping people feel safe, understood, and less alone.

What I'm
Passionate
About

I’m especially passionate about helping people navigate intimacy, relationships, trauma, anxiety, identity, addiction, and the complicated realities of being human.

A lot of my work focuses on sex and intimacy, helping individuals and couples have conversations they’ve never felt safe enough to have before. I also work with people navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, addiction, and the everyday stress that comes with trying to balance work, family, and everything in between.

I also deeply value supporting First Responders and the unique stress, pressure, and relational challenges that often come with that lifestyle.

More than anything, I believe therapy should feel human - not stiff, clinical, or overly polished. I truly love this work and feel honored every day to have real conversations with real people about the hard, messy, meaningful parts of life.

Okay, Here's
The Official
Stuff

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-MHSP) and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (LADAC II) in Tennessee, as well as an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist (CST) and Certified First Responder Counselor (CFRC). I also provide virtual therapy sessions for clients throughout the state of Florida.

I’ve completed advanced training in EMDR, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, DBT, mindfulness-based approaches, and sex therapy through the Buehler Institute’s Comprehensive Sexology Program.

Elaina Arriondo

Marriage & Family Therapist, LMFT

Sometimes people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted from trying to hold everything together. Maybe you’ve spent years masking, overexplaining yourself, or feeling like no one quite understands your experience. Therapy can be a space where you finally exhale.

Elaina works with teens and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, ADHD, autism, identity exploration, relationship challenges, and life transitions. She has a special passion for working with neurodivergent clients, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and those carrying the weight of cultural or relational complexity.

As a neurodiverse, bicultural Hispanic therapist, Elaina brings both professional training and lived experience into the therapy room. Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, affirming, and deeply grounded in helping clients feel emotionally safe and understood.

Her style is warm, relational, and nonjudgmental. Whether you’re processing trauma, learning how to better understand yourself, navigating relationships, or simply feeling stuck, Elaina strives to create a space where you don’t have to filter who you are.

Therapy with Elaina is not about “fixing” you, it’s about helping you feel more connected to yourself, your relationships, and your life.

“ And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom” – Anais Nin

Have you found yourself realizing that, despite your best efforts, what you've been doing isn't quite working?  You've tried repeatedly to make changes, have had some successes and some false starts, but nothing seems to stick so you feel "stuck".

Or maybe life was going along well enough until...it wasn't.  Maybe the career stalled, health issues presented themselves, or relationships became strained or worse, broken.   The life you thought you knew seemed to shift, leaving you feeling adrift and unmoored.  And suddenly you notice that you aren't "you" anymore.  So you've taken the brave step of contemplating therapy.

NoëI considers it a sacred honor to walk with you on this journey together as you discover where you want to go with your life and the path you take to arrive. She believes that therapy is very much a collaborative process; you are the expert on you. She sees her role as a guide to help you achieve your goals through tried-and-true means.

NoëI employs a variety of evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, and others.

Common concerns Noel works with:
  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Trauma

  • Betrayal Partner Trauma

  • Chronic Pain

  • Loneliness/Isolation

  • Life Transitions

  • Relationship concerns

  • Military/Veteran related concerns

NoëI has worked as a licensed therapist for over 25 years in a variety of settings including outpatient mental health, psychiatric inpatient treatment, military, EAP and non-profits. All of these diverse experiences have reinforced to her that each individual has unique gifts, talents, perspectives and struggles. Universally, one of our greatest needs is to feel safe and to be heard, understood and respected. Her approach is compassionate, warm and with a touch of humor.
